Terms of use

These terms cover the ReadBilingual app and readbilingual.com, both made by Bobo Labs(“I”, “me”). By using either, you agree to them. They're short on purpose.

What you get

A library of short stories for language learners, with word meanings and audio, and with a subscription, unlimited access to it. Features and the story library change over time; I'll try to make them better, and I may remove things that don't work.

Subscriptions

Subscriptions are bought through the App Store or Google Play and follow their rules for trials, renewals and cancellation. A free trial converts to a paid subscription unless you cancel before it ends. Refunds are handled by Apple and Google for purchases made through them. If something has gone wrong, email me and I'll help where I can.

Your use

Stories, audio and word meanings are for your personal, non-commercial use. You can read them offline on your own devices. You can't redistribute, resell or scrape them, or use the app in a way that breaks the law or interferes with the service for others.

Stories you create with the Author plan are yours to read and keep on your device. I don't claim ownership of your prompts.

Third parties

ReadBilingual is a reading companion. It isn't affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Duolingo, Babbel, Anki or any other app it can import from. Their names are used only to describe compatibility.

No guarantees

The app and site are provided as they are. I don't promise they'll be uninterrupted or error-free, and I'm not liable for indirect or consequential losses from using them, to the extent the law allows. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that can't be limited.
